Take me Home Dinner Service




“Delicious food as always - the 'take me home' service is a wonderful treat and all courses were the usual first class standard from our favourite local restaurant! Thank you!”


Spaces each week are limited and will be on a first come first served basis.  Please make your request by email to enquiries@wildthymerestaurant.co.uk and wait for a confirmation.  Please bear with us if we do not reply immediately although we will endeavour to reply the same day.  If you haven’t heard back within 24 hours, then feel free to call and check that we received your email.  Please also check your spam folder as sometimes we are “junked” because of individuals’ firewalls.


Free delivery during the afternoon is available within a 5-mile radius of Wild Thyme or you can collect from us between 3-5pm.  Meals are fully prepared and just need re-heating with full instructions included.  We request payment by the Wednesday prior to delivery/collection and will send details of how to make payment with confirmations.


 £30 per person for 3 courses and Nick’s home-made bread


We hope you appreciate that we are unable to deviate from the set menu but will of course continue to manage allergies. Please make sure you advise us of these at the time of booking.  Although a vegetarian option is not advertised, we can offer an alternative on request and most dishes are naturally gluten free (or can be made so).  We are sorry that we are unable to deal with other dietary requirements at this time.


“Just wanted to let you know that we loved the Take Me Home meal on Friday - not just the food but actually more importantly the attention to detail such as the sauces, the packaging, the instructions and the two candles.   We took the hint and carried on the spirit with a properly laid table, silver cutlery and cut glass and a decent bottle.   We have been eating out in London and in Oxon but mainly pubs and pizza chains, so what was such a refreshing change was a proper restaurant meal. And it was delicious.   Full credit to you and Nick for keeping WT going in what must be unbelievably tough trading conditions. So well done.”

Saturday, 13 March (Mother’s Day Lunch)
Pick up Saturday, 13 March and enjoy on Sunday, 14 March

(There's of course nothing to say you can't enjoy this meal on the Saturday night but pop it into the refrigerator and enjoy it for lunch on Sunday, 14 March – go on treat the Mum's in your lives!!!)
